Meet & Greet Officer (NSDC) (3 MONTH)

Overview

Front office/reception is the first place where guest/customer arrives and come in touch with the staff. Front office/ reception are the mirror of the hotel. The function of front office is to directly get in touch with customers. The front office can discover more information about the customer by developing public relations with them. At NFCI, We inculcate our students with the qualities like dealing with guest and other tasks such as sorting out emails, helping out on printing and typing works

Curriculum

Practical exposure of front office handling, Telephone etiquettes, welcome & greeting manners, public dealing, enquiry handling, basic computer knowledge, email & letter writing, Fire safety, first aid, file management, front area management.

Learning Outcome

Student become aware about day to day activities of front office, which help them to easily cop-up in real life working, less work pressure, quick learning, flexible with work structure.

Food & Beverages Services- Steward (NSDC) (4.5 MONTH)

We at NFCI, provides you the range from the glamorous five-star resort to the less fashionable, but arguably more specialized, institutional areas such as hospitals, industrial outfits, schools and colleges naming list to few.

Service methodology, Outdoor caterings, Customer care, table etiquettes & layouts, time management, knowledge of crockeries, cutleries & utensils, Types & verities of beverages.

Diploma in Cookery

Overview

This course is designed especially for young boys and girls who wish to utilize their time to learn the skills and to achieve greater heights in food line which is approximately 500 Billion US Dollars industry. We lay emphasis on teaching practical aspects of the course.

Curriculum

All major four cuisines are covered into this course- Indian, Chinese, Continental and Tandoor Cuisine. Daily practical, Customer Care, Table Layout Creation and Preparation of new food items, Kitchen Planning, Hotel Training, Storage and Preservation of Food, Cleanliness, Costing, Industry exposure.

Practical & theoretical knowledge of overall Indian, Chinese, continental & Tandoor cuisine, make students ready for job, increases creativity, able to prepare food in bulk, multi-tasking skills.

Diploma in Food Production (AHLEI)

Trainee Chef (NSDC)

Overview

This is a completely job oriented program, specially designed for skill enhancement. By this course students can develop practical & social skills in a holistic way, aiming at development leadership qualities, social responsibilities, behavioral skills & lifelong learning interest.

Preparation method of Indian, Chinese, continental and Tandoor cuisine, kitchen maintenance, knowledge about store supplies, Range, hygiene & sanitation

Learning Outcome

The individual would be able to work at stores supplies, cooks food as per Commie or Range or Multi-cuisine Chef's instructions and maintains cleanliness in the kitchen.

Housekeeping Supervisor (NSDC)

Overview

Is a department that deals essentially with Cleanliness and all ancillary services attached to that. Housekeeping Standards plays an important role in the reputation of hotels. One feels comfortable only in the Environment which is clean & well ordered.

Curriculum

Hotels try to make the ambiance as pleasant as possible by nice colour scheme, attractive furnishing and a well-kept efficient staff. Students are trained in all these traits at NFCI.

Learning Outcome

After doing this Course, Student learn all the basic aspects of Housekeeping as far as Hotel Industry is concerned, which helps to start career in Industry and get settled.
